As Project Energy Connect approached energisation and handover, Transgrid needed a more efficient and reliable way to identify contractual obligations and link them to the deliverables required for completions.
Overmorrow Consulting applied advanced optical character recognition, natural language processing and data validation techniques to extract obligations from contract documents and relevant technical standards. This produced a structured overview of handover deliverables by project stage and function, with full traceability back to contract requirements. The work was completed in a secure local data environment with zero data retention.
