The Opportunity – Senior Systems Engineer :

What you’ll do:

• Lead, manage and contribute to complex consultancy projects from inception to successful delivery, ensuring excellence in outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that align with their expectations and goals.
• Support the company’s business by actively contributing to proposal development, delivering compelling client presentations, etc.
• Work with project teams, facilitating and coordinating all necessary reviews, verifications and validations, and ensure that the outcomes of these processes are effectively incorporated into the project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain consistent information management practices to effectively manage the systems engineering processes by defining and applying a uniform metadata language.
• Implement and maintain informative dashboards that provide valuable project management insights and updates.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of supporting, tailoring and managing complex consultancy solutions from inception to delivery.
• Strong ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and client satisfaction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong presentation skills for delivering ideas and project updates to clients and teams.
• Experience with systems engineering processes, including reviews, verifications, and validations and standards like ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288, 42010, 29148.
• Versatile with Systems Engineering software like IBM Rational DOORS, Relatics, Levvr etc.
• Adept with information modelling, data management and Artificial Intelligence
• A proactive mindset that actively explores innovative approaches and methods
• Extensive experience (4-8 years) in relevant industry such as Road, Rail, Airport, Water and or Energy-related projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and preferably Chartered Engineering status
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CSEP, or equivalent) are advantageous.
• Ability to occasionally travel intrastate.
