Coffs Harbour Bypass

Overmorrow’s role involved providing client-side configuration management services. This includes a comprehensive review of Systems Engineering, Functional Safety, Safety in Design, and Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Analysis. Overmorrow’s expertise ensures that these critical aspects are thoroughly evaluated and integrated, supporting the successful delivery of the project with high standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.

The project entails a 14 km bypass of Coffs Harbour, extending from south of Englands Road intersection to Korora Hill in the north, as well as a two-kilometer upgrade of the existing Pacific Highway, between Korora Hill and Sapphire. Key features include:

  • 3 Major Interchanges at Englands Road, Coramba Road and Korora Hill
  • 3 Tunnels at Roberts Hill, Shephards Road and Gatelys Road
  • 22 Bridge Structures
  • Over 3.5 million cubic meters of earthworks
